This continued support underscores a shared commitment to improving highway safety and raising awareness about commercial vehicle operations through the ATA Foundation’s highly regarded “Share the Road” and “Teens and Trucks” programs.

The funding will support the operation of the Foundation’s mobile “Share the Road” exhibit, which gives drivers a firsthand view of the blind spots surrounding a commercial truck. By allowing participants to sit in the driver’s seat of a real tractor-trailer, the exhibit provides a powerful, eye-opening experience that illustrates exactly where cars disappear from a truck driver’s view. This interactive demonstration travels statewide, helping the public better understand how to safely share the road with large commercial vehicles.

The grant also ensures the ATA Foundation’s continued participation in GOHS’s Public Education Program, expanding its presence on television and radio across Arizona. These outreach efforts aim to reach broad and diverse audiences with practical safety tips and life-saving messages.

Tony Bradley, Executive Director of the ATA Foundation, expressed appreciation for the continued partnership with GOHS:

“Our Share the Road and Teens and Trucks programs are key to educating the public—especially young and inexperienced drivers—on how to stay safe around large commercial trucks.
